Mahagauri, the eighth form of Goddess Durga, is worshiped on Ashtami Tithi. And it is worshiped on the festival day of Navratri. During Sharadiya Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshiped in pandals in Bengal, Odisha and Eastern India. Today is known as Maha Ashtami which is very important. Many devotees observe fast on the day of Mahashtami. And those who have been fasting since Navratri, some people also break their fast on this day. The power to complete all the devotees of Goddess Mahagauri has been written. One who worships the Goddess gets relief from all the troubles of life. Sandhi Puja is performed on the day of  Sharadiya Navaratri Maha Ashtami. Which is a special puja. Sandhi Puja is a Muhurat, the time when Mother Goddess killed Mahishasura. That time is only for some time. At the same time, sacrifices are made to Goddess Durga.

Mahagauri is also called Annapurna, Aishwarya Pradayini, Chaitanyamayi. Mahagauri is also considered the goddess of compassion and mercy. Wow, there is an ocean of mercy, Mahagauri is a form of Mother Parvati.
