About Ganesh Chaturthi Holiday 2025
Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi is a popular Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Chaturthi Puja is basically famous in Maharashtra and some other parts of India. During Ganesh Chaturthi Puja, pandal banks are being worshiped everywhere. Bhajan, kirtan, nautanki, singing etc. entertainment activities are carried out near the pandal for several days. The decoration of the Pandal is very beautiful and fascinates me. People have come in line with their families to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. This work continues till the dead body of Ganesh is buried. On the occasion of Visharjan, there are huge processions held, carrying a statue of Lord Ganesha this day.
While the major day is a religious holiday across many states in India, the festival itself is celebrated across 10 days.
