Maha Navami Puja in Temple and Pandal

Many people observe fast for 9 days during Navratri and then break the fast on Navami day. These some people observe fast on Saptami, Ashtami, and Navami. On the day of Sharadiya Navaratri Maha Navami 2025, after taking a bathe, wear clean and washed clothes. After this, make “Avahan” to Goddess Durga and offer a garland of flowers to Goddess Durga and invoke her by offering a floral tribute. During the puja, offer to Mother Goddess with red flowers, Akshat, sandalwood, fruits and sweets etc. Recite Maa Durga's mantra and Durga Chalisa. Recite the Vrat Katha and at the end perform the Aarti of Mata Rani along with the family. After the puja is over, distribute Prasad among all the people. During the worship of the ninth day of Navratri, you can definitely offer semolina pudding, puri, black gram recipe and kheer to Mata Rani. This offering is considered very dear to Mata Rani. After this, invite the girls of your house and worship them. Girls are also called “Kanchak”. There is a method of worshiping at least 5, or 7, 9, or even 11 girls need to be sat in the puja. After they perform the puja, give them Naivedya as Prasad in place of the offering. Such Mother Goddess is very happy and the seeker is blessed with happiness and prosperity. Whoever observes a fast for 9 days of Mata with devotion and devotion, Mata Rani fulfils his/her wish on this day as well. That is why her name is Siddhdatri.
