About Manabasa Gurubara - Fourth & Last Pali 2025

Manabasa Gurubara -Fourth Pali Rituals

This is the last Thursday of the month of Margashirsha. Most people perform the Udyapan of Lakshmi Puja on the Third Thursday of the month.

But on this fourth Thursday, people also perform the Manabasa Puja by setting up a Chowki or Khatuli of Mata Lakshmi. The process of Puja will be exactly the same which we have already discussed in the First Pali of Manabasa Gurubara. But yes, if you have performed the Udyapan on the third Thursday, then you can simply a normal puja and offer only Khichdi and Dalma as prasad, or it depends on you.

Manbasa Gurubara is a Very Auspicious Fast

Manbasa Gurubara is a very auspicious and unique fast. In Odisha, Odia people mostly perform Manbasa Puja in every house, no matter how important the work is, but no one misses Manbasa Gurubara.
