About Chaitra Navaratri Maha Navmi & Siddhdatri Puja 2025 2025

According to belief, the form of Goddess Siddhidatri(सिद्धिदात्री), who is worshiped on the day of Navami, is divine, divine and auspicious. Mother Leo also sits on a vehicle and a lotus. He has four arms, a chakra in the lower right hand, a mace in the upper hand, a conch in the lower left hand and a lotus flower in the upper hand. Mother is very fond of purple and red colors. It is believed that by the grace of Mother Siddhidatri, half of Lord Shiva's body became that of a goddess and was called Ardhanarishwar(अर्धनारीश्वर). Besides, Mother Siddhidatri is also considered to be the form of Goddess Saraswati.

To worship Maa Siddhidatri on Navami Puja, take bath in the morning and wear clean clothes, after that first worship the Kalash and meditate on all the Gods and Goddesses. Worship the mother with devotion by offering Moli, Roli, Kumkum, flowers and Chunari. After this, offer puri, kheer, gram, pudding and coconut to the mother. After that, chant the mantras of Mother Goddess and feed food to one boy along with nine girls.
