About Chaitra Navaratri Chaturthi & Kushmanda Puja 2025 2025

The fourth day of Navratri is called Chaturthi Navratri. On the fourth day, devotees worship mother Kushmanda with Shodashapochara Puja people perform with proper rituals and performs aarti after offering sweets and fruits. It is believed that mother Kushmanda loves Malpua as naivedya so people offer it to her on the day.

Mother Kushmanda is the form of Maa Parameshwari who has 8 arms and holds divine power. It is believed that by worshipping Maa Kushmanda, all your desired tasks are fulfilled and the tasks which face obstacles are also completed without any hindrance. By worshipping mother Kushmanda, devotees get happiness and good fortune. It is said in Devi Purana that mother helps students in their study, so student should definitely worship mother Kushmanda during the Navratri. Mother Durga helps in developing their intelligence.
